Andrea Corr

Andrea Jane Corr MBE is an Irish musician, singer and actress. Corr debuted in 1990 as the lead singer of the Celtic folk rock and pop rock group The Corrs along with her three older siblings Caroline Sharon and Jim. Andrea Corr is an Irish singer musician songwriter and actor. She has been awarded the distinction of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and is better known as one of the Celtic folk and pop-rock group The Corrs. As the lead vocalist and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, Andrea is the group's leader. Andrea debuted as an actor as early as 1991. Since then, Andrea has developed into an accomplished musician and stage performer. She performed as an actor in the playback of 1998 Warner Bros. animated film The Quest for Camelot. Andrea's artistic career is diverse. Her work was recognized for her work in charity. Andrea is engaged to her boyfriend, a stockbroker and they have two kids. Andrea began her music lessons with the tin whistle. Gerry taught Andrea to play the keyboard. Andrea is also a ukulele player. Her teenage years were spent polishing her music skills. She teamed up with siblings and brothers in order to sing for the group. Andrea was a part of many shows at Dun Lughaidh Convent.
